Why Suriname?

Colossal Gold Resources, (CGR), is one of the most active gold exploration and development companies in Suriname. Our concessions are strategically positioned within the highly prospective greenstone belts of Suriname, which is situated within the broader, highly productive Guiana Shield. The mining friendly jurisdiction of Suriname remains extremely underexplored despite the scale of two of the world's major gold producing companies, Newmont and Zijin.

The Guiana Shield of South America is significantly underexplored

compared to West Africa, with huge potential for new major discoveries.

About CGR

Founded in June 2021, CGR is led by a very successful and experienced mineral resource project delivery team. Our focus is on advancing the NW Goliath Gold Project and our sole objective is to deliver the next major gold deposit in Suriname which will become the next major mine.

The current exploration focus is to extend CGR’s initial gold discovery strike length at the NW Goliath Project, which lies within a growing 5km long mineralised gold trend. The objective is to achieve a maiden resource, within 24 months, through our continued systematic approach to exploration.
